Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

It's time for the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  My card features two springtime elements--flowers and bunnies.  Quite a pair, right?

The layout for my design comes from the current sketch at Sunday Stamps.  I used the bunny peeking out from a mug of tea image from the This Could Be Vodka stamp set from The Cat's Pajamas as my focal image.  After coloring the image with Copic markers and carefully cutting it out, I used foam tape to place it on a white circle. I accented the image with a pair of die cut flowers and a leaf, cut with TCP's Flower Button dies.

A turquoise banner panel serves as the backdrop for the image.  I adhered the banner to a piece of floral patterned paper, wrapped the panel with a strip of rose ribbon, then added the image panel on top.  For the sentiment, I stamped "hello, there" from the Catch My Drift set at the bottom of the banner.  I  layered the finished panel on to a coordinating yellow card base.
