I had already colored up the teacup image with Copic markers last week, so I cut it out to use on my card, then looked through my patterned paper stash for a pair of coordinating patterned papers. I hit the jackpot with these two--a pretty floral pattern with a black background and a tonal blue striped pattern. After matting both panels on pale gray cardstock, I arranged them on a light aqua card base. The "a cup of kindness just for you" sentiment was stamped on a pale gray strip with a slanted edge. I positioned the strip on the cardfront, then added the teacup image on top, using foam tape for dimension.

Materials Used:
Coffee Helps stamp set, Rise and Shine digi images (Verve Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Sno Cone and Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Cut and Paste-Flair 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); foam tape
Love your card. I love the patterned papers together.

ReplyDeleteWonderful choice of papers...that diagonal stripe is a perfect complement to the floral piece.
