Mojo Monday 492-Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamp from Verve Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  I used a classic color scheme with a little bit of sparkle along with one of Verve's Plain Jane stamps to create my card based on the layout.

My focal panel features the "happy anniversary" sentiment stamped in gray pigment ink on a pale gray pierced square die cut.  For the background, I adhered a dark gray leafy patterned panel and a shiny silver panel on to a pale gray cardstock panel and wrapped the layers with a simple white ribbon secured with a knot.  The sentiment panel was layered on top.  For a pop of color, I added a pair of hearts, cut with Verve's Heart Quartet die, in the lower right corner of the sentiment panel. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating dark gray card base.

Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:

  1. I especially appreciate how you kept your card clean and simple while following the sketch. The bright red hearts are a great focal point!
