Sew Much

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I went super clean and simple with this one, using a small cluster of images and a few die cut elements to communicate my message.

Sew Much card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper SmoochesI represented the layout's three horizontal strips with a trio of lines cut into a pink cardstock panel using a die from the Paper Smooches Stitched stamp set.  The stitched design was a perfect match for my sewing themed images!  I stamped up a pair of images from the Needle Little Love set and colored them with Copic markers, then carefully cut them out.  The images were positioned on the panel using foam tape.  I stamped the set's "I {heart} you sew much" sentiment just beneath the bottom stitched line in black ink.  Since the stamp was clear, it was pretty easy to line up the words straight beneath the line.  As a final touch, I added a teeny, tiny pink heart cut with PS's Tiny Hearts die to the images.  The finished panel was adhered to an easy to write on white card base.

Materials Used:
Needle Little Love stamp set, Stitched and Tiny Hearts dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
