Some Bunny Loves You
Here's my card for the current challenge at Global Design Project. Since bunnies are everywhere--and I mean everywhere--this time of year, I went with a sweet bunny themed design for the sketch.
My bunny is from Lawn Fawn's wintery Snow Day set, but you wouldn't know it here! Pairing the bunny with a different sentiment makes the image work for any season. Here, I stamped the bunny on kraft cardstock and added a bit of shading with a Copic marker before cutting out the image with the matching die. A bit of white flock on the bunny's tail gives the image a bit of texture, too.
To go with the bunny, I mixed and matched sentiments (and letters from sentiments) in two sets, Love Letter and Hello Baby, to get "some bunny loves you." The text was stamped at the bottom of a pierced oval die cut. I placed the bunny above the text using foam tape, then tucked a pink die cut heart beneath it. The panel was adhered to a pink card base with a wide floral print panel on the right side. A delicate pink bow, tied with my Bow Easy and positioned just beneath the sentiment panel, completes the design.
Materials Used:
Snow Day, Love Letter, and Hello Baby stamp sets, Snow Day dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pale Peony and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sno Cone cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Oval STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Bundle of Joy-A New Addition 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); white flock (Stampendous); pink ribbon; Bow Easy; foam tape
