Color Throwdown 448-You're Absolutely Fantastic

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Lynn is our hostess this week with a jewel toned color combination--purple, mint green, hot pink, and teal.  I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch for my clean and simple design.

I made the lightest color--mint--the dominant color in my design.  After finding a piece of mint paper with a woodgrain pattern on it, I stamped the "you're absolutely" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's You're So stamp set on the paper in pink pigment ink.  To complete the sentiment, I die cut the word "fantastic" from pink cardstock and craft foam using the coordinating You're So dies, then layered the two pieces before adhering them below the stamped text.  I added a narrow strip of purple cardstock to the bottom of the patterned paper panel before matting it on teal cardstock.  I accented the words with a die cut layered shiny silver star, adhered with foam tape for dimension.  The matted panel was adhered to a mint cardstock panel, then adhered to a purple card base.
