Something to Perk Up Your Day
Here's a quick coffee themed design for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. The die cut to-go cup is the focal point for this design. After cutting the cup from white cardstock using MFT's Coffee Cup dies, I shaded the pieces with a Copic marker before adding the kraft sleeve on top. I used foam tape to adhere it over a contrasting die cut dark brown circle, then placed the pieces inside a pale green stitched rectangle frame on a kraft card base. The "something to perk up your day" sentiment from the Perk Up stamp set was stamped in brown pigment ink on the sleeve on the die cut cup. I accented the die cut with a trio of white matte enamel dots.
Materials Used:
Perk Up stamp set, Die-namics Coffee Cup dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Spring Moss and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); stitched rectangle dies (Lil' Inker Designs); circle die (Spellbinders); white matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
