Sending Thanks
Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I used a postal themed stamp set and color scheme for my thank you card design.
I used a stamp from the SugarPea Designs Special Delivery stamp set and my MISTI to stamp the two lines of arrows, one red and one blue, in opposite directions on a pale gray cardstock panel. The gaps in the arrow lines were filled in with strips cut from cardstock scraps. For the sentiment, I die cut the word "sending" from both dark gray cardstock and craft toam using a die from the Lil' Inker Designs Sending You die set. After layering the die cuts for dimension, I added them to the pale gray panel. The "thanks" sentiment from the SPD Espresso Yourself set was stamped just beneath the die cut word in gray ink. The finished panel was adhered to a blue card base that coordinates with the ink and cardstock on the pale gray panel.
Materials Used:
Special Delivery and Espresso Yourself stamp sets (SugarPea Designs); Memento Lady Bug and Bahama Blue inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Pacific Point cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sending You dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); craft foam
