The Challenge 94-This Way to Birthday Fun

The Challenge is back with a new papercrafting challenge to inspire you! This week we're featuring a fun inspiration challenge.  There are so many interesting elements in this photo that you could use as a springboard for a card!

This Way to Birthday Fun card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Avery ElleI used the dominant colors (blue and pink) and the arrow filled sign as the inspiration for my design.  I built my card on a woodgrain patterned paper panel.  I found two patterned washi tapes in my stash--one pink striped and one blue polka dotted--and adhered them to the woodgrain panel.  The "this way to birthday fun" from the Avery Elle Aim High stamp set was stamped just above the tape strips in neon pink pigment ink.  I used the coordinating Aim High dies to cut a rounded arrow from blue cardstock.  After trimming the straight edge down a bit, I positioned it on the panel so it curved around the sentiment.  I added a few enamel dots as an accent, then adhered the finished panel to a blue card base to match the arrow and enamel dots.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based this week's photo inspiration challenge.  Here's where to find them:
