Sending Thanks

Sending Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
Here's my card for the current SugarPea Designs Mix It Up challenge.  I paired the sketch with the navy and aqua colors from the inspiration photo for this simple thank you design. I die cut 4 bright blue envelopes using one of the dies from the Special Delivery Accents die set.  After filling in the negative space behind the heart cut out in each envelope with a tiny scrap of red, I arranged the envies on an aqua card base, using foam tape to position the top envelopes.  I mixed and matched sentiments from SPD's Espresso Yourself (sending) and Terrific Ties (thanks) sets to make my sentiment.  The words are stamped in blue pigment ink to match the envelopes.  A trio of red enamel dots arranged around the sentiment completed the design.

Materials Used:
Espresso Yourself and Terrific Ties stamp sets, Special Delivery Accents dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Luxe Bahama Blue ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Pacific Point and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); red enamel dots (Doodlebug Design); foam tape
