'Tis the Season

'Tis the Season card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  With summer winding down, it's getting to be time to start thinking about holiday cards, so that's how I used the sketch.  My trio of elements is a grouping of delicate snowflakes cut with Reverse Confetti's Snowflake Trio dies.  I used silver cardstock and placed a teeny, tiny clear crystal at the center of each flake for lots of sparkle and shine.  The snowflakes were arranged on a pale gray panel with the "'Tis the Season" sentiment from the RC Seasonal Sentiment set stamped at the bottom in darker gray pigment ink.  I edged the long panel with a narrow silver strip, then adhered it to a blue and gray striped patterned paper panel. The colors of the patterned paper give the card an icy, wintery feel. I adhered the finished panel to a pale gray card base to match the sentiment panel.

Materials Used:
Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, Snowflake Trio dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Recollections Silver cardstock, Craft Smith Crystal Frost 6x6 paper pad (Michaels); clear crystals (Darice); foam tape
