Hope Your Day Rocks

Hope Your Day Rocks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
Here's my card for the current (for a few more hours) sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I used a bunch of dies to put together this musical themed design.

For the layout's large round panel, I used a pair of circle dies to create a record album.  I adhered the layered circles to a white panel, then trimmed the left side of the circles down to be flush with the panel's edge.  A teeny, tiny half circle was adhered to the layered circles to make the hole at the center of the album.  I used the Stars dies from Paper Smooches to cut a pair of sparkly silver stars to represent the layout's other round panels.  They're adhered to the card with foam tape.  The "hope your day rocks" sentiment from the Beboppin set was stamped at the bottom of the panel in black ink. After matting the panel on silver cardstock, I adhered it to a red card base/

Materials Used:
Beboppin stamp set, Stars dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Recollections Silver cardstock (Michaels); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
