Color Throwdown 473-Celebrate the Season
It's time for another Color Throwdown! Broni is our hostess this week with a pretty color combination-pink, green, kraft and white. I paired the colors with Reverse Confetti's Cool Friends stamp set for a seasonal design.
The snowman pair was stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching dies. It's hard to see in the photo, but the pom pom on one of the snowmen's hats is covered with white flock for a bit of texture. I used foam tape to adhere the snowmen to a shimmery white cardstock panel with a white snowbank along the bottom. The set's "celebrate the season" sentiment was stamped on a narrow pink cardstock strip. I adhered the strip to the top left side of the white panel and anchored it with a green button tied with kraft twine.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD473. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd473 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.
Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our December guestie Debra James, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Kelly Schirmer.
