Thanks for the Nice Words and Stuff
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I used the Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp and die set from Lil' Inker Designs along with some patterned paper from my stash to make a fun thank you card.
I started out by selecting the patterned paper I used to cover most of the red card base. After choosing that, I inked up the two "thanks" stamps and stamped them on white paper. The stamped word was die cut, then adhered to the patterned panel using foam tape. I stamped the rest of the sentiment ("for the nice words and stuff") in red ink on a narrow pink cardstock strip and positioned it below the die cut word. I accented the pieces with a trio of red enamel dots. The panel was matted on pink cardstock, then adhered to the red card base.
Materials Used:
Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp and die set (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Luxe Love Letter and Angel Pink inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Poppy Parade and Pretty in Pink cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Daydream designer paper (Sassafras Lass); red enamel dots (Doodlebug Design); foam tape

Love this! The stripey background and the fun shadowed sentiment are fantastic. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of the cut-out sentiment - it pops so well with the banner for grounding and the softly striped paper! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
