Color Throwdown 476-Congrats

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Lisa is our hostess today with this soft, seasonal color scheme--light blue, kraft, and white.

Baby Congrats card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from WPlus9
One of my colleagues is expecting a baby boy this spring, so I used the colors to make a card to mark the very special event.  The images are from WPlus9's Little Dreamers stamp set.  I colored the bear with Copic markers, then used the coordinating dies to cut out the colored image.  The moon and clouds were stamped on shimmery white cardstock, then also cut with the matching dies.  I arranged the pieces on a pale blue card base.  For the sentiment, I stamped "congrats" from the coordinating Stardust stamp set in silver pigment ink, then heat embossed the text in silver embossing powder.  A trio of white sequins arranged around the images completed the design.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD476.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd476 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our January guestie Debra James, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Kim Fee.
