Sending Happy Thoughts

Sending Happy Thoughts card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
The current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is a rainbow inspired color challenge.  I took the challenge somewhat literally by incorporating a rainbow into my design.

My rainbow was created from scrap cardstock strips.  I arranged them on an angle on a pale blue card base.  The irregular edges at the bottom were covered by a cheery yellow sun and a pair of shimmery white stitched clouds cut with Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers dies.  I topped the die cluster with a bold red umbrella from the Hello Baby stamp set.  For the sentiment, I die cut the word "happy" from both turquoise cardstock and craft foam using one of the Happy Happy Happy dies.  After layering the pieces for dimension, I adhered the word to the cardfront.  The words "sending" and "thoughts" from the coordinating stamp set were stamped above and below the raised word. To complete the design, I added a trio of clear sequins around the sun and cloud as sparkly rain drops.

Materials Used:
Hello Baby and Happy Happy Happy stamp sets, Hello Baby, Happy Happy Happy, and Spring Showers dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Bashful Blue, Shimmery White, Real Red, Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, Tempting Turquoise, and Lovely Lilac cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sparkling Clear sequins (Pretty Pink Posh); craft foam; foam tape
