Thanks a Lot

Thanks a Lot card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
Here's my card for this month's Paper Smooches photo inspiration challenge.  I took my cues from the flowers in the umbrella in the inspiration photo and the white background.

I used one of the images from the Paper Smooches Best Buds stamp set as my focal image.  The flowers were colored with Copic markers in shades of purple and pink to match the colors of the flowers in the photo.  After stamping the "thanks a lot" sentiment inside the banner, I carefully cut out the image by hand.  It was positioned over some looped silver thread that I arranged on a white panel with an angled pale purple patterned paper at the bottom.  A trio of pink matte enamel dots arranged around the panel completed the design.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating pale purple background.

Materials Used:
Best Buds stamp set (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Lavender Moon cardstock, Guide Lines patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); silver cord (Michaels); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
