Smile
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I created an encouraging design using the layout and some MFT stamps and dies. The design was built on a fun, bold chevron patterned paper panel I adhered to a coordinating card base. The "smile" was cut from both teal cardstock and craft foam. I layered the pieces, then adhered them to the cardfront. The "things will get better" sentiment was stamped on a long, narrow pale gray fishtail flag strip in black ink. I positioned it just beneath the die cut word. A trio of teal enamel dots arranged around the sentiment completed the design.
Materials Used:
All Smiles stamp set, Grout Gray cardstock, Die-namics Double the Smiles and Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Taken with Teal and Purely Pomegranate cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Here Is Happy-Record It! 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); teal enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); craft foam

Great take on the sketch, Lori! Love how the sentiment pops on the chevron paper.
