With Love

With Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
It's Mother's Day today and this pretty design has already made its way to my own mom.  The layout is based on the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used a feminine, spring-like color palette along with stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs for my card.

The focal point of the panel is a pretty heart shaped wreath dressed up with a cluster of flowers stamped in shades of pink and yellow.  I arranged them with foam tape to give the flowers some dimension.  The "with love" sentiment from the Sending You set was stamped in white pigment ink on a curvy pink banner strip, then heat embossed with white for a bold pop.  I positioned the banner across the wreath, tucking it underneath the top of the flowers.  The image panel was adhered to a pink card base over an angled floral patterned paper panel in coordinating colors.

Materials Used:
Sweet Celebration and Sending You stamp sets, Sweet Celebration dies (Lil' Inker Desigsn); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress, Memento Angel Pink, Rose Bud, Dandelion, Pear Tart, and Bamboo Leaves inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Hibiscus Burst and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Southern Chicken Dumplings-New Potatoes designer paper (Jillibean Soup); Recollections Snow embossing powder (Michaels); foam tape

  1. Soft and lovely! LOVE your grouping of flowers with the big heart. And the floral paper peeking out is just right! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
