What's Up?
Here's my car for the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch. I used the layout's large panel to make a simple backdrop for one of the giraffes from the Giraffing Me Crazy set from My Favorite Things. The long giraffe image was a perfect match for the long strip that extends along the left side of the sketch! The giraffe was colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die. I used foam tape to adhere the giraffe to a blue dotted patterned paper panel that I edged with a strip of green "grass" made with a border punch. I stamped the set's "what's up?" sentiment in black ink on the green strip, then adhered the panel to a golden yellow card base that coordinates nicely with the color of the giraffe image.
Materials Used:
Giraffing Me Crazy stamp set, Giraffing Me Crazy dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Rain patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Grass border punch (Fiskars); foam tape
