Swinging By
Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge. I used the sketch for a fun, monkey-themed hello card featuring Lawn Fawn's Love Ya Bunches set.
I colored up one of the set's monkey images and a leafy vine using Copic markers. After cutting out the images with the matching dies, I adhered them to a blue circle that I positioned near the top of a green card base. I cut a round opening in a piece of green plaid paper from the Perfectly Plaid-Spring paper pad and adhered it over the cardfront so that my image panel was visible through the opening. For the sentiment, I stamped "swinging by to say" on a narrow green cardstock strip and placed it across the bottom of the round opening. The "hello" was stamped just beneath it to complete the sentiment.
Materials Used:
Love Ya Bunches stamp set, Perfectly Plaid-Spring 6x6 paper pad, Love Ya Bunches dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Cool Caribbean and Kiwi Kiss cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
