You've Got the Write Stuff
Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I think this one is perfect for Teacher Appreciation Week! I put together a trio of pencils using Papertrey Ink's Pencil Me In dies. The pencils were a little long for the card's vertical orientation, so I ended up trimming down the pieces before assembling them and adhering them to the lemon yellow card base. To add interest, I alternated the orientation of the pencil points. The "you've got the write stuff" sentiment from the coordinating Pencil Me In stamp set was stamped on the bottom pencil in Versafine Onyx Black ink, my favorite for bold, black sentiments.
Materials Used:
Pencil Me In stamp set, Lemon Tart cardstock, Pencil Me In dies (Papertrey Ink); VersaFine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Insulation Pink cardstock (My Favorite Things); Recollections Silver cardstock (Michaels)
