Thanks for the Nice Words and Stuff

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  You can never have too many thank you cards in your stash, so I used the layout to put one together using stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs.  It was adhered to a white panel using foam tape for dimension.  I matted the panel on two pieces of coordinating aqua cardstock before adhering it to a darker aqua cardstock panel.  To finish the sentiment, I stamped the "for the nice words and stuff" phrase on a narrow pale aqua strip and added it beneath the sentiment panel, angling it for interest.  The

I stamped the "thanks" from the Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp set using aqua and teal inks, then cut the word out with the matching die.  The strip was accented with a trio of different sized teal enamel dots. I used foam tape to adhere the finished panel to a card base with strips of striped washi tape and aqua cardstock along the left edge. The stripes add a little interest to the design and match well with the "sketchy" lines on the "thanks."

Materials Used:
Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp and die set (Lil' Inker Designs); Iced Aqua ink (Reverse Confetti); Tropical Teal ink (My Favorite Things); Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); striped washi tape (Target); aqua enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
