Thanks, Teacher
As a teacher, I have to admit that I like to make teacher-themed designs. Most of these cards tend to be somewhat feminine, but this stamping-free design would work perfectly for a male teacher. The layout is from the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. I built the card around some older apple patterned paper in my stash of 12x12 pieces. The kraft on brown worked well with the contrasting deep red that I used for the "thanks, teacher" line border from Lawn Fawn. For dimension, I cut the piece three times and layered the die cuts before adhering them to the patterned paper panel. I matted the panel on kraft cardstock, then adhered it to a red card base that matches the die cut strip.
Materials Used:
Thanks, Teacher Line Border die (Lawn Fawn); Cherry Cobbler cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Autumn Afternoon-A Is for Apple designer paper (Scribble Scrabble)
