Color Throwdown 514-Truly Grateful

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Amy Rohl is our hostess this week with a seasonal color combination--orange, brown, rust, and yellow.  I paired the colors with the current challenge at Fab Friday for this fall-themed design.

Truly Grateful card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse ConfettiMy focal point is one of the elegant sentiments from Reverse Confetti's Fall Foliage stamp set.  I stamped the text in brown ink on a cream oval. The oval was matted on brown cardstock and adhered over a leaf patterned fishtail flag strip on a yellow woodgrain patterned paper panel.  To accent the sentiment, I stamped a pair of leafy branches on rust cardstock in rust ink. After die cutting the leaves, I tucked them underneath the sentiment panel.  The panel was accented with a trio of gold glitter enamel dots, then adhered to a rust card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD514.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd514 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, October's Guest Designer, Birgit Edblom, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Lisa Kind.
