Fall Is Here
On the first day of October, it seems appropriate to share a card that has a fall look and feel. This one is based on the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I used a leaf die from Concord & 9th's Layering Leaves to create a trio of rust-colored leaves. Each leaf was adhered to a narrow cream cardstock panel. After matting the cream panels on gold paper, I adhered them to a rust panel with a strip of rich chocolate brown cardstock across the center. I made sure to alternate the orientation of the leaves to add interest to the design. For the sentiment, I stamped just the "thanks" from one of the sentiments from the Kindhearted set on a piece of gold paper. I trimmed the paper down, then adhered it to one of the cream panels using foam tape. The finished panel was adhered to a chocolate brown card base.
Materials Used:
Kindhearted stamp set, Layering Leaves dies (Concord & 9th); Canyon Clay cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!); gold paper (Target); foam tape
