Tag Talk Thanks
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I took a few liberties with the layout, but I think you can still see how it inspired me to create this masculine thank you design.
I used the Tag Talk dies to create a trio of Sno Cone tags, two solid and one with the word "thanks." After backing the "thanks" with some navy cardstock and adding a green twill tie, I used foam tape to adhere the tag to the bottom of a piece of Factory Green cardstock. The other two tags were adhered above the "thanks" tag, alternating the position of the hole in the tag for interest. Now that I look at it again, I may go back and add some large grommets that I found while doing some cleanup in my crafting space this weekend to the blank tags for a more finished look. I edged the green panel with navy cardstock, then adhered it to a striped patterned paper panel. The panel was adhered to a coordinating navy card base.
Materials Used:
Factory Green and Sno Cone cardstock, Tag Talk dies (My Favorite Things); Night of Navy cardstock, Old Olive twill (Stampin' Up!); Loyal 6x6 paper pad (Authentique); foam tape
