Words Are Never Enough

Words Are Never Enough card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
Now that the holidays are over, I'm working on building up my stash of thank you cards.  This one is based on the current challenge at Sunday Stamps and also fits the "thank you" theme of this month's Stock Your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti.

I used one of the images from RC's Mod Leaves set to create my own patterned paper, stamping the leaf image repeatedly in green ink on a long cream panel.  The panel was edged with a strip of kraft cardstock, then wrapped with some twine.  I adhered it to the left side of an eggplant card base.  The thank you sentiment from RC's The Most Beauty set was stamped in the same green ink.  I matted it on coordinating green cardstock before adhering it to the cardfront, overlapping the right side of the stamped panel.  Once I line it with cream cardstock to write on, this one will be easy to get in the mail!

Materials Used:
Mod Leaves and The Most Beauty stamp sets (Reverse Confetti); Memento Pistachio ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Elegant Eggplant cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Simply Chartreuse and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); twine (Hemptique)
