Bee Mine

Bee Mine card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
The theme for this month's Paper Smooches challenge is anything goes.  I put together this love themed design using PS stamps based on the current Paper Craft Crew challenge.

My focal image is the large bee image from the Bee Mine set.  I colored the image with Copic markers, then cut it out with the matching die.  I used foam tape to adhere the image to a light blue circle.  The circle was adhered to a piece of yellow flower patterned paper.  I die cut a stitched heart from red cardstock and positioned it to the right of the bee image using more foam tape.  The set's "bee mine" sentiment was stamped in a line on a narrow strip of white cardstock.  I adhered it over the heart die cut.  A section of a large clear crystal flourish was placed on the panel extending out from the top of the circle to complete the cluster of elements in the focal point.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating cheery yellow card base.

Materials Used:
Bee Mine stamp set, Bee Mine dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Lemon Drop and Sno Cone cardstock (My Favorite Things); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Happy Day-Streamers designer paper (SEI); circle dies (Spellbinders); Stitched Heart dies (Lil' Inker Designs); clear crystal flourish (Want2Scrap); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); foam tape
