It's time for another Color Throwdown! Barbara is our hostess this week with a great mix of colors--coral, blue, green, and kraft.
I paired the colors with the current challenge at The Paper Players. For my focal image, I used the tiger (or maybe cat...) image from Reverse Confetti's Heart Pals set. The image was colored with Copic markers to match the challenge colors and cut out with my Scan 'n Cut machine, then adhered to a stitched circle die cut using foam tape for dimension. I arranged a blue chevron patterned paper panel and a wide strip of kraft cardstock on a blue card base, then added a green strip on top. After putting the image panel in place, I stamped the "you are the best" sentiment at the right side of the green panel. The words are a combination of stamps from the Whole Lotta Happy and All About You sets--the "you" in the All About You set was too big, so I improvised a bit!
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD532. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd532 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, February's Guest Designer, Leigh O'Brien, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Mo Rootes.
