Keeping Christmas-February 2019

It's time for the January installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team! This month I'm sharing a super simple holiday design that would be pretty easy to mass produce.

Holiday Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
The layout for my design is based on the current Fab Friday challenge.  I used Reverse Confetti's Snowflake Trio dies to cut an assortment of delicate snowflakes form silver cardstock.  The flakes were arranged on a bold red card base.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I dotted the center of each flake with a teeny, tiny clear self-adhesive crystal for extra sparkle.  For the sentiment, I stamped the "holiday wishes" sentiment from RC's Seasonal Sentiment set in coordinating Salsa ink on a stitched circle die cut.  I adhered the stamped panel to a white mini doily using foam tape, then placed the layered pieces on the cardfront, tucking one flake underneath and layering one flake over the panel.

Don't miss what the rest of our team has created to inspire you to get a head start on your holiday card making!  There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing.  Here's where to find the team members:

Materials Used:
Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, Salsa ink, Salsa cardstock, Pop Up Circle and Snowflake Trio dies (Reverse Confetti); Silver cardstock (Recollections); paper mini doily, self-adhesive crystals (Martha Stewart); foam tape
