The World Needs More You
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I represented the layout's balloon element with a section of a retired MFT die, You Mean the World to Me. I cut the globe part of the die from bright aqua cardstock, then backed it with a green circle to fill in the negative space of the continents/land. After adding a tiny triangle to make the globe into a balloon, I adhered it to a pale aqua card base with a black "string" drawn on it. To go with the balloon's earth theme, I found a world themed sentiment in the More Essential Sentiments set and stamped it in aqua ink on a long lime slanted sentiment strip. The strip was positioned over the globe balloon to finish the card.

More Essential Sentiments stamp set, You Mean the World to Me and Slanted Sentiment Strips dies (My Favorite Things); Cookie Monster ink (Taylored Expressions); Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, and Limeade Ice cardstock (Papertrey Ink); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
