Teacher You're Awesome
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I interpreted the layout's three circles as a trio of apples that I created with the Apple Pieces dies from Lil' Inker Designs. After cutting the apples from cardstock scraps and assembling them, I arranged them over a strip of green dotted patterned paper on a kraft card base. The center apple was adhered with a piece of foam tape for a bit of dimension. I die cut the word "teacher" three times from brown cardstock and layered the pieces before adhering them to the cardfront, overlapping both the green dotted panel and the card base. The "you're awesome" sentiment from the Teacher Talk set was stamped just below the die cut word in brown ink to finish the design.
Materials Used:
Teacher Talk stamp set, Teacher Word and Apple Pieces dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Simply Chartreuse and Kraft cardstock, Simply Chartreuse patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Garden Green and Close to Cocoa cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); foam tape
