Warm Wishes

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  We're expecting more wintery weather again today, so the cookies and cocoa theme of this card is very appropriate!

Warm Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from WPlus9
I stamped the cookie and cocoa images from WPlus9's Cookies and Cocoa stamp set, then colored the images with Copic markers before cutting out the colored images with my Scan 'n Cut machine.  After putting foam tape on the back of each image, I arranged the pieces on a cream cardstock panel.  The "warm wishes" sentiment from the All the Cheer stamp set was stamped in black ink on a red cardstock panel, then positioned over the cluster of images.  I cut apart a large taupe pearl flourish and used one of the sections as "steam" coming out from the top of the mug.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating blue card base.

Materials Used:
Cookies and Cocoa and All the Cheer stamp sets (WPlus9); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/MAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Marina Mist cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); taupe pearl flourish (Want2Scrap); foam tape
