Thanks a Bunch
Here's my super simple card for the current Fusion challenge. I paired the sketch with the color scheme from the inspiration photo for an easy to mail thank you card.
For the trio of elements, I went with flowers, inspired by the look of the underwater plants in the photo. The trio of flowers was created with Reverse Confetti's Petals 'n Posies stamps and dies. The images were stamped with red ink using my MISTI so I could double stamp the image for saturated color, then dotted at the center with a solid cardstock circle. I arranged them across a navy blue card base, angling the flowers on the sides for interest and using foam tape for dimension. For the sentiment, I stamped the set's "thanks a bunch" sentiment in red ink on a narrow yellow cardstock strip. I used foam tape to adhere it over the flower trio and finish the card.
Materials Used:
Petals 'n Posies stamp set, Navy cardstock, Petals 'n Posies dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Love Letter ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Bright Buttercup cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
