CAS Colours & Sketches - Challenge #322

I am so excited to be joining the team at CAS Colours & Sketches as a guest designer for the month of May!  This week's challenge is a fun color challenge featuring Pumpkin Pie, Coastal Cabana, and Daffodil Delight.  I used stamps from Reverse Confetti and created a birthday themed design to go along with RC's birthday themed Stock Your Stash challenge.

I colored the sweet image from the Heart Pals stamp set with Copic markers that matched the challenge colors, then used my Scan 'n Cut to cut out the colored image.  The image was adhered to a Daffodil Delight card base using foam tape.  I paired the image with a birthday sentiment from the Birthday Wishes stamp set stamped on a wide strip of cardstock that I tucked beneath the bottom of the raised image.  The sentiment was accented with a strip of hearts that was die cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and adhered to the bottom of the panel with more foam tape.
