I Thank My Lucky Stars

Here's my card for the current challenge at The Paper Players.  I used a traditional red, white and blue color scheme with a star motif for my thank you themed design.

I Thank My Lucky Stars card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse ConfettiI built my design on a solid red cardstock panel.  To go with my star theme, I added a wide strip of blue star print patterned paper to the left of the panel, edging it with a narrow strip of silver along the left side for a bit of sparkle and shine.  The star themed thank you sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Because of the Brave stamp set was stamped to the right of the patterned panel in Versafine Clair ink--it's my favorite for crisp, dark sentiments!   I used two dies from RC's Seeing Stars die set to die cut a trio of stars from silver.  The stars were adhered to the panel using foam tape for dimension.  I centered the panel on a navy card base to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Because of the Brave stamp set, Seeing Stars dies (Reverse Confetti); Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (Tsukineko/IKMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Americana 6x6 paper pad (Pebbles); foam tape
