Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Here's my contribution to the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. I used stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs along with bright, colorful papers--and patterns--for my design.

I made a trendy "pink drink" for my coffee image using LID's Coffee Cozy stamps and dies and my Copic markers.  The image was adhered to a light blue stitched circle die cut using foam tape for dimension.  I found a multicolored chevron patterned paper in a mix of fun colors for the background.  After adhering a wide strip of pink cardstock diagonally across the patterned panel, I added the image panel on top.  To bring in some more of the colors from the patterned paper, I cut a pair of smaller stitched circles from cardstock scraps and arranged them at the right side of the image panel.  The "celebrate your inner coolness" sentiment from the Bunny Buddies stamp set was stamped in pink ink on a yellow cardstock strip and added to the panel so that it extended out from beneath the raised right side of the drink image.  A trio of pink matte enamel dots added a final whimsical touch.  I matted the patterned panel on pink cardstock, then adhered it to a cheery yellow card base--easy to write on, too!

Materials Used:
Coffee Cozy and Bunny Buddies stamp sets, Coffee Cozy and Stitched Circles dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black and Rose Bud inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Bright Buttercup, Lovely Lady, and Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Soft Sky cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Garden Party 6x6 paper pad (Pebbles); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
