Seas the Day

Here's my card for the current Lawnscaping beautiful beaches themed challenge.  I used most of the colors from the mood board on my simple summery design.

Seas the Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I built my card on a white card base with a sponged background panel that I created using distress inks (for the sand) and distress oxides (for the water).  I attempted to blend the sand into the water.  Not sure I succeeded with that... For my scene, I used images from Lawn Fawn's On the Beach stamp set.  I colored the bear, complete with a sunburned belly, towel, and umbrella with Copic markers, then used my Scan 'n Cut to cut out the colored images. They were arranged on the inked portion of the cardfront using foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the set's "seas the day" sentiment at the top of the inked area in black ink.

Materials Used:
On the Beach stamp set (Lawn Fawn); Tea Dye, Antique Linen, and Vintage Photo distress inks, Peeled Paint, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, and Faded Jeans distress oxides (Ranger); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); foam tape
