Forever and Always
Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I paired the sketch with the wedding theme for this month's Stock Your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti to come up with this simple, sweet design.
I started out by stenciling some hearts on a pale pink cardstock panel using RC's Hearts stencil and Worn Lipstick distress ink, using a heavier hand at the center and getting lighter as I moved towards the edges. After the ink dried and set, I used silver ink to stamp "congratulations" from the Congratulations stamp set and "forever & always" from the Word Up set across the stenciled hearts in silver ink. The words were embossed in silver ink so they would stand out from the stenciled background. I added a trio of pink matte enamel dots around the sentiments before adhering the panel to a romantic rosy red card base.
Materials Used:
Congratulations and Word Up stamp sets, Hearts stencil (Reverse Confetti); Worn Lipstick distress oxide (Ranger); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Rose Petals and Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); silver embossing powder (Hero Arts); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet)
