Keep on Swimming

Keep on Swimming card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
The code word for the current Addicted to CAS challenge is "bubble."  Lawn Fawn's Keep on Swimming stamp set was perfect for the challenge!  I stamped a fishbowl and filled it with a fish with a trio of bubbles.  I colored up the image and added some sparkle to the bubbles with a clear glitter brush pen.  After stamping and coloring the set's table image, I carefully fussy cut out all of the colored images--I was too lazy to get my Scan 'n Cut going... To ground the images, I adhered a narrow strip of kraft cardstock to the bottom of a light blue card base as a floor, then arranged the images on top using foam tape for dimension.  The set's "keep on swimming" sentiment was stamped on a narrow orange cardstock strip and adhered to the opposite edge of the cardfront.

Materials Used:
Keep on Swimming stamp set (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); Ocean cardstock (Recollections); Orange Fizz cardstock (My Favorite Things); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); foam tape

  3. Lori, I love how you created this simple scene - it works so well and doesn't overpower your fun little goldfish in his bowl. So glad you shared this wonderful card with us at ATCAS this week
