Consider Yourself Hugged
Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I used the Bear Hugs stamp and die set from The Stamp Market to put together this simple, sweet design.
Instead of coloring the image, I stamped the bear image on kraft cardstock. I added just a bit of color with Copic markers before cutting out the image with the matching die. The image was adhered to the lower right corner of a red cardstock panel using foam tape for dimension. I stamped the set's "consider yourself hugged" sentiment just above the image and the trio of hearts just to the left. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added some glitter to the hearts. The panel was matted on dark brown cardstock, then adhered to a kraft card base to match the bear image.
Materials Used:
Bear Hugs stamp/die set (The Stamp Market); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); clear Sparkle glitter brush pen (Spectrum Noir); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); foam tape
