You Spin Me Round

Here's my card for the final week of the 400th sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the SugarPea Designs Greatest Hits stamp set and coordinating dies for this love themed design.

You Spin Me Round card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
I die cut the album and record player arm from cardstock and assembled the pieces. The gray panel with the album and the record player arm were adhered to a piece of black arrow patterned paper.  Thanks to the white brad at the album's center and the teeny, tiny white brad on the record player arm, both pieces are able to move!   After edging the patterned panel with red cardstock, I adhered it to a pale gray card base that matches the panel behind the record album. The "you spin me round like a record" sentiment was stamped on a narrow red cardstock strip and adhered to the cardfront using foam tape for dimension.

Materials Used:
Greatest Hits stamp set, Greatest Hits dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Red Punch and Silver cardstock (Recollections); XOXO 6x6 paper pad (American Crafts); mini brads; foam tape
