Color Throwdown 564-Always Bee Yourself

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rohl is our hostess this week with a great mix of colors--red,  yellow, and brown.

I paired the colors with the current Fab Friday sketch challenge and stamps from SugarPea Designs.  My focal image is the bear from SPD's Hey Honey stamp set.  I stamped the body on brown cardstock and cut out the image with the matching die, then paper pieced the face for contrast.  The image was adhered to a kraft circle using foam tape for dimension.  I matted the circle on dark brown cardstock before adhering it to a red card base.  To bring in the yellow, I stamped and die cut one of the set's bee images and added it to the image panel using more foam tape.  A pair of fishtail flag strips were tucked underneath the bottom of the image panel, angled for interest.  For the sentiment, I stamped the set's "always bee yourself" and "and do your own sting" sentiments on narrow red cardstock strips.  They were arranged over the image panel using more foam tape
