Baby Girl
One of my colleagues is going to have a baby girl any day now, so I wanted to have a card ready to go when the little one arrives. I used the current challenge from Freshly Made Sketches to put together this sweet, feminine design.
The focal image is a onesie from the SugarPea Designs Welcome Baby stamp set. I colored the stamped image with Copic markers, then used the matching die to cut out the colored image. I adhered it to a minty blue panel over a wide strip of girly floral patterned paper. For the sentiment, I used the SPD Baby Diaper Pin die set to cut the word "baby" from lighter aqua cardstock. The die cut word was positioned directly over the onesie. The finished panel was adhered to a pink card base to coordinate with the color of the onesie.
Materials Used:
Welcome Baby stamp set, Welcome Baby and Baby Diaper Pin dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pale Peony cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sea Glass and Tropic Teal cardstock (The Stamp Market); Garden Party 6x6 paper pad (Pebbles)
