It's time for the November installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team! For this month, I used stamps, dies, and papers from Reverse Confetti for a bold, cheerful holiday design.
My focal image is a green panel cut with the Happy Pretty Panels die. I filled in the die cut's negative space by backing the panel with a piece of contrasting red cardstock and adhered it to a green and blue patterned paper panel, angled for interest. The top of the die cut panel was dressed up with a red seam binding bow. I stamped the word "holidays" from the coordinating Whole Lotta Happy stamp set beneath the word "happy," then added a kraft Swirlies die cut circling the words. When the swirl shape is cut from kraft cardstock, it resembles a wreath, which works perfectly with the holiday theme! I accented the swirl shape with a gold glitter snowflake, then added two more smaller flakes around the panel. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating green card base. I may go back and dot the centers of the snowflakes with clear crystals for even more sparkle...What do you think?
