Happy Howlidays
Here's my card for the current Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge. I paired the sketch with Lawn Fawn's Happy Howlidays stamps and dies for this cute, punny holiday design.
I colored up the dog and gift box images with Copic markers, then used the matching dies to cut out the colored images. They were arranged on a white die cut circle using foam tape for dimension. There was just enough room at the bottom of the panel to stamp the "happy howlidays" sentiment beneath the images. I found a long scrap of festive red and green striped paper from a Doodlebug Designs paper pad to use along the length of the green card base. I positioned at the center of the cardfront, over a panel of lighter green cardstock. After matting the image panel on a green circle that matched the card base, I adhered the circle to the cardfront to finish the design.
Materials Used:
Happy Howlidays stamp set, Happy Howlidays dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Green Parakeet and New Leaf cardstock (Papertrey Ink); North Pole 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design); circle dies (Spellbinders); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
