Seriously

Here's my card for the current Fab Friday challenge.  I created a monochromatic card using stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs.

Seriously card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
I die cut three stitched stars from silver cardstock and arranged them on dark gray cardstock., leaving space for the sentiment at the left side of the panel.  The word "seriously" was die cut from gray cardstock and adhered to the panel.  After stamping "you rock" in silver ink on a black sentiment flag die cut and heat embossing the text in silver, I used foam tape to adhere the flag beneath the die cut word.  I accented the stars with a trio of silver sequins, then matted the panel on shiny silver cardstock before adhering it to a black card base.

Materials Used:
Seriously Awesome stamp set, Seriously Word, Stitched Stars, and Sentiment Flag dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Weathervane cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); Basic Black cardstock, silver embossing powder (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Target); silver sequins; foam tape

  1. Great design! The big sentiment in lieu of the sketch banner is a great switch and I'm always a sucker for star cards! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
