Hoppy Holidays

Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Happy Little Holiday Critters themed challenge.  I inked up the Lawn Fawn/Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collaboration set, Snow Bunnies, for the first time for this holiday design.

Hoppy Holidays card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I colored up a pair of bunnies and a pair of trees with Copic markers and cut them out with my Scan 'n Cut machine.  To give it a glittery, snow-like look, I stamped the snow bunny on shimmery white cardstock and shaded it with markers before cutting it out, too.  For the background, instead of using a more traditional mix of blues, I blended pink distress inks to create a sky.  After dotting it with some silver stamped snowflakes, I adhered some shimmery white die cut snow banks to the bottom of the panel, then arranged the images on top using foam tape for dimension.  The set's "happy holidays from every bunny" sentiment was stamped on narrow strips of pale pink cardstock and adhered to the bottom of the panel.  The finished scene was adhered to a pale pink card base that matches the sentiment strips.

Materials Used:
Snow Bunnies stamp set (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black and Delicata Silvery Shimmer inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Fired Brick and Worn Lipstick distress oxides (Ranger); markers (Copic); Pink Pirouette and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Crystal Stardream cardstock (The Paper Cut); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); foam tape
