Hello Baby

Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics For the Birds themed challenge.  I paired stamps from Lawn Fawn with the current (for a few more hours!) CAS(e) this Sketch challenge to put together this sweet baby themed design.

Hello Baby card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I created a simple rainbow background by arranging four narrow pastel cardstock strips diagonally across a dotted aqua patterned paper panel.  For interest, I added a pair of stitched clouds die cut from shimmery white ardstock over the rainbow stripes before placing the stork image from the Plus One set on top with foam tape.  The stork was shaded just a bit with Copic markers.  I paper pieced the stork's bundle using a scrap of gender-neutral lemon yellow cardstock.  For the sentiment, I stamped "hello baby" from the Hello Baby stamp set to the right of the cluster of images. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating aqua card base.

Materials Used:
Plus One and Hello Baby stamp sets (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Aqua Mist, Lovely Lady, Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, and Lilac Grace cardstock, Aqua Mist patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); stitched cloud dies (Lil' Inker Designs); foam tape
